Gavin stared at Ryan, trying to understand why might meant. “What do you mean you might’ve? You either did or didn’t.”
He blinked a few times, expecting a stronger reaction from the other. “Something, uh.. Something happened. Something really personal.” Ryan’s eyes squinted, trying to remember what had happened the night before. “I got really drunk. I don’t really remember anything. But I’m fairly sure I slept with someone.” His teeth ground against each other. “I’m sorry, Gav. I didn’t want to bother you with my shit and I made a mistake.”
